Your Funds Are Safe and Secure at Service 1st Credit Union!

Member deposits are federally insured through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) , a government agency that is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.

The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), an arm of NCUA, insures a member’s savings up to at least $100,000. Higher total coverage is available if the member has a combination of individual, joint, trust, payable-on-death and other types of accounts.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are insured up to $250,000 independently from other accounts.

Each Service 1st Credit Union member is federally insured up to at least $100,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund,. Many families can increase the amount of share insurance coverage they receive by the appropriate structuring of deposits in various individually and jointly held accounts.
