The minimum deposit for a CD is $500 and terms range from 6 months to three years.

Terms and conditions about Service 1st Credit Union's Certificates of Deposit are printed in the Disclosure & Agreement Form. There are penalties associated with early withdrawal from the Certificates of Deposit which is also disclosed at the time of investment and is disclosed in the Disclosure & Agreement Form. Money Market Account

A Money Market Account is a great account for members not ready to lock funds in a Certificate of Deposit. This account allows you limited access to your funds in exchange for dividend rates higher than Share Savings Accounts. Plus, Money Market Accounts have tiered rates, meaning the more you have in your account, the more dividends you will earn. Dividends are paid monthly.

Money Market Accounts require an initial deposit of $2,500. Additional deposits can be made at any time. Withdrawals are limited to six per month and must be a minimum of $250.

Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

IRAs are available as either Share Savings Accounts or Certificates of Deposit. CD terms range from six months to three years with a minimum $500 investment. Dividends are paid quarterly.
